In the beginning, Kintu was the only man on earth, wandering the plains of Uganda alone with only a cow for companionship. One day, Nambi and her younger sister came down from the sky on a rainbow. Nambi saw Kintu and was curious about this strange creature she had never seen before. She fell in love with him and wanted to take him to meet her father, Ggulu (the Sky God).
