Lodge-Boy (or By-The-Door) and Thrown-Away are mythical twin heroes in Muscogee Creek (and Natchez) tradition. The twins were born after their pregnant mother was killed by a monster. One twin was found inside the lodge and the other was thrown away, giving them their names. They grew up with extraordinary strength and magical abilities. The twins are portrayed as rowdy monster-slayers who cause plenty of trouble during their adventures.
