Miss Cow Falls a Victim to Mr. Rabbit
Brer Rabbit, hungry and with nothing to eat, approaches Miss Cow and asks her for some milk, claiming his children are starving. Miss Cow refuses, saying the milk is for her calf. Brer Rabbit then asks her to come to Miss Meadows's house where there is plenty of grass, but Miss Cow refuses again. Later, Brer Rabbit hides behind a bush and calls out in a deep voice, pretending to be a wild animal threatening to eat Miss Cow. He frightens her into running to Miss Meadows's gate, where he pretends to defend her. Grateful, Miss Cow offers him all the milk he wants. The next day, Brer Rabbit repeat
