Moso's Footprint

The giant Moso was one of the first humans created by Tagaloa on the island of Savai'i. His enormous footprint can still be seen pressed deep into solid lava rock at the village of Salelologa. According to legend, Moso stood so tall that he could step from one island to another. His footprint was left when he stood on Savai'i and pushed the island of Upolu away to create the Apolima Strait between them.
