Mr. Bear Catches Old Mr. Bull-Frog
Brer Bear, hungry and irritable, decides he will catch the enormous bullfrog that keeps him awake at night with its croaking. He finds the frog at the pond's edge and makes a grab, but the frog leaps into the water. Brer Bear decides to drink the entire pond dry. He drinks until his belly is swollen, but the pond level barely sinks. Then the bullfrog surfaces and teases him, telling him that he will never succeed. Brer Bear, in a rage, plunges his head underwater to catch the frog by force, but only gets his head stuck in the mud. Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox pass by and laugh at the sight of Brer
