Ormur (The Feared Farmer of Skála)
Ormur ('Worm') was a notoriously savage farmer in Skála, a giant of a man who stole sheep from neighboring farms. When farmer Pætur of Funningur caught him, Ormur forced him to swear silence under threat of his axe. Later, Pætur visited Ormur's home and was served sheep heads—but Ormur had forgotten to remove the ears, which bore Pætur's identifying marks. When Pætur confronted him, Ormur sharpened his axe.
