Potto-Podnie and Stállo
From the Solsönernas Saga. Potto-Podnie ('the useful old man') of the Sirkas tribe was a skilled noaidi with a magic drum. Stállo, an evil wandering giant sent by Adtjis-ene, dwelt in a mountain across the marsh from Potto-Podnie's camp. When Stállo coveted Potto-Podnie's beautiful daughter Waimokatta, a battle ensued. Neither could defeat the other until Beijen-Neita (the Sun's daughter) gave Potto-Podnie divine guidance. Potto-Podnie beheaded Stállo and brought his head to a sieidi.
