Raven and the Beaver (Tlingit)
Near a bay near Kôts!ê'L! there was a seawater pond where a beaver lived. Raven very much wanted to catch and kill this beaver, so he dug two trenches to drain the lake at low tide. After the water ran out and the beaver was visible at the bottom, Raven lowered a hook and pulled the beaver up. After killing the beaver, Raven also killed a big whale and got his people to tow it to the place where the beaver had lived.
