Shurale the Forest Spirit
Shurale is the most famous mythological creature in Tatar folklore — a forest spirit depicted as a hairy man with a horn on his forehead, one eye, and extremely long fingers. Shurale lures travelers into the forest, rides their horses at night, and tickles his victims to death.
