The beautiful maiden Sina drew water from a pool where she discovered a young eel. She took it home as a pet and named it Tuna. The eel grew rapidly, outgrowing bowls, then pools, and becoming unnaturally large. Wherever Sina bathed, the eel appeared and encircled her. Frightened, she fled across multiple islands, but the eel always found her. Finally, the eel revealed itself as the King of Fiji transformed by magic, who confessed his love and asked Sina to bury his head. Though shocked, Sina complied.
