Siyavash and Sudabeh
Prince Siyavash, son of Kay Kavus, rejects the seductive advances of his stepmother Sudabeh. To prove his innocence, he rides through a mountain of fire and emerges unscathed. Despite this vindication, he cannot remain in Iran and voluntarily exiles himself to Turan, where King Afrasiab initially welcomes him and gives him his daughter Farangis in marriage.
