Tales of the Trolls
Three short tales of troll encounters: a peasant meets a troll at a spring, a girl is lured into a mountain by a handsome troll, and a farmer outwits a troll who steals his harvest. These tales reflect the Scandinavian belief in _bergtagning_ — being taken into the mountain by trolls.
