The Awonawilona Creation (Zuni)
In the Zuni creation myth recorded by Frank Cushing, only Áwonawílona, the All-Father, Maker and Container of All, existed in the beginning. He made himself into the Sun Father (Yatoka). The mist clouds formed into the Great Waters, from which Earth Mother (Áwitelin Tsíta) and Sky Father (Ápoyan Ta'chu) emerged.
