The Last Sunrise
A man from the east coast of Greenland is so deeply attached to his homeland that he finds the sight of the sun rising over the ocean to be his greatest joy. His son eventually persuades him to travel to the west coast. However, seeing the sun rise behind the land instead of the ocean causes him great distress. Upon returning home, he awakens early to witness one final, familiar sunrise, and the overwhelming emotion of the moment causes him to pass away in a state of pure joy.
