The Old Woman and the Fish
An old woman catches a talking pike that grants three wishes: that her pails fetch water by themselves, that whatever she strikes breaks right off, and that whatever she pulls becomes long. Each wish backfires—she slaps her knees in delight and breaks her legs off, then blows her nose and it grows terribly long.
