The Pathfinder — Aigin's Revenge
The famous Sámi legend adapted into the 1987 Oscar-nominated film. Circa 1000 AD in Finnmark, a young Sámi man named Aigin returns from hunting to find his family massacred by Chude raiders. He escapes to another Sámi community, but the Chudes follow. The noaidi Raste hides with Aigin but is tortured. Aigin reveals himself, guides the Chudes onto treacherous mountain terrain, tricks them into binding themselves, then cuts free, causing them to fall to their deaths.
