The Slaying of Déélgééd the Horned Monster
After defeating Yéʼiitsoh, the Hero Twins faced Déélgééd, the Horned Monster, a creatures described as having one horn and living in the water. In some versions the monster was a giant water creature with a single horn. Monster Slayer and Child of the Water tracked it to its lair. Monster Slayer shot the creature multiple times; its blood gushed out and it plunged into the ocean. As it floated on the surface, both twins shot arrows into it until it was dead.
