The Slaying of Yéʼiitsoh
Monster Slayer's greatest feat in Navajo tradition was killing Yéʼiitsoh, the Big Giant, who wore armor of flint knives on his legs. The Hero Twins approached him after their father the Sun had weakened the giant by striking him four times. Monster Slayer shot an arrow into the giant's leg armor but it shattered; a second arrow broke through. The giant collapsed face-down, and Monster Slayer shot a third arrow through his head.
