The Tashka and Walo: Brothers Who Followed the Sun (Choctaw)
Two brothers named Tashka and Walo followed the sun every day from childhood to adulthood. One day, the sun rested over a great expanse of water, and the boys swam into it, emerging in the home of the sun. The sun's wife, the moon, and the stars all lived there. The sun asked why they had followed him for so many years, and they replied they only wished to see where he died each evening. The sun agreed to send them home but warned them not to speak for four days after returning, or they would surely die. A giant buzzard flew them home. Their frightened mother made them speak, and they told of
