A Zuni story about a warrior from Zuni who traveled to the land of the Hopi (called Moki in Zuni) to win a bride. The warrior had to prove his worth through feats of strength, courage, and skill. He faced challenges set by the Hopi elders, including hunting dangerous game, competing in races and games, and demonstrating his knowledge of proper ceremonial conduct. Through his bravery and skill — and with the help of the war gods — he succeeded in all the trials and won the maiden.
