The Windigo Baby
A newly married couple had a baby boy who seemed normal until one day, while still in his cradleboard, he spoke to his parents saying he would visit the Sky Spirit. That night, the baby vanished from his cradleboard. The parents found tiny tracks leading to the lake, then enormous footprints beyond. The child had transformed into a Windigo, a cannibalistic ice monster. The creature walked across the lake toward the Sky Spirit's home, which was protected by fifty Thunderers who threw lightning bolts at approaching threats. When the Windigo approached, the Thunderers fought it with lightning, fi
