Unhcegila the Serpent Monster
Unhcegila was a gigantic serpent monster who wreaked havoc upon the land, devouring anyone who stumbled upon her. A red crystal in the seventh spot on her head functioned as her heart and granted its bearer great power. In one version, a warrior from the Bear Clan, guided by a Weasel spirit, allowed himself to be devoured then cut his way out, freeing other victims.
