Yunwi Tsunsdi: The Little People (Cherokee)
Yunwi Tsunsdi are the Cherokee Little People — small, child-sized nature spirits who live in caves, under rocks, and in the dense forest. They are usually invisible but sometimes reveal themselves to humans they trust. They possess powerful magic and are said to have taught medicine to certain shamans. The Little People can be helpful to those who respect them, leading lost hunters to safety or granting blessings. However, they are easily angered by disrespect and punish those who bother them excessively with confusion or misfortune. They are known to borrow tools from villagers, always return
